About the Opportunity

Summary:

Postdoc position is available in materials, energy storage, and manufacturing, especially solid-state batteries and flow batteries. Opening for postdoc researcher with financial aid are available in Professor Hongli Zhu’s group in the department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University (Web site: https://www.sites.google.com/site/honglizhulily/publications). Appointments beginning in the January 2023 are preferred. Research areas include polymer, ceramic, lithium metal, solid state energy storage, and flow batteries. We are looking for creative, enthusiastic, and self?motivated candidates from diverse backgrounds and disciplines; including electrochemical engineering, materials science and engineering, or manufacturing. Experiences and skills in ceramic, electrochemistry, polymer and solid state battery are encouraged.

Qualifications:

Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar. 

Materials synthesis and modification. Performs fundamental and applied research. Assists the supervisor in the interpretation and publication of results.  Maintains the laboratory and may exercise functional supervision over students in the lab.
