Job Description Summary

The postdoctoral associate will assist with conducting multiple projects related to upper and lower extremity injury and rehabilitation. The postdoctoral associate will engage in recruitment, collaboration with other members of the Sports Medicine Institute (Miller School of Medicine) and Sports Medicine & Motion Analysis Laboratory (School of Education & Human Development), administration of intervention and assessment, data entry, data collection, data analysis, interpretation, manuscript preparation, submission, dissemination via presentations and reporting. In addition, the postdoctoral associate will develop and submit a postdoctoral fellowship grant applications to multiple grant opportunities.

Job duties:

• Assist research projects with administration of assessments, interventions, and completion of data collection.
• Organize data. Ensure data quality. Perform data analysis.
• Produce peer-reviewed journal publications, manuscript writing.
• Develop and submit a postdoctoral fellowship application grant to multiple grant opportunities. Utilize workshops/resources as necessary.
• Oversee/train other members of the lab toward reliable data collection/analysis.
• Maintain/troubleshoot equipment for biomechanical and neurophysiological assessments. Collaborate with other members of the lab/center.
