Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Program Manager acts as a liaison to both employers and students who engage within the Smith School of Business. With relation to The Office of Career Services (OCS) and the Employer Relations Team, the primary interaction with employers involves strategic engagement relevant to employer recruitment activities that include but not limited to: developing and creating recruiting strategies for employers recruiting at the Smith School of Business via advertising job opportunities and making logistical arrangements related to campus recruiting visits via HireSmith, employer events via virtual or inperson that may consist of scheduling information sessions, on campus interviews, employer-of-the-day requests and other networking events. Student interaction primarily involves updating HireSmith academic information, approving undergraduate, graduate and alumni resumes, scheduling and editing time availability for interviews, student registration for information sessions, workshops and other employer recruiting events. The program manager will also work as a liason to the greater OCS to assist with employer engagement opportunities to assist in overseeing, managing and coordinator larger employer events. The program manager will oversee the coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee employer engagement opportunities in OCS, including but not limited to career fairs (virtual and in person), networking events, venue and catering contracts, and budget oversight as well as manage and oversee employer registration approvals, career fair payment processing as well as forward payments to accounts payable and keep accurate records and establish standardized event procedures and train student or event staff into properly executing them.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or business, etc.,

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, customer account management, event management, or related fields.
