Job Description:

The Lemos-Abranches lab (https://lemos-abranches.dental.ufl.edu ) is seeking to recruit 2 highly motivated postdoctoral researchers interested in studying different aspects of the molecular genetics and pathobiology of enterococci and oral streptococci. The individual will be joining a highly dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive 2-PI lab located in the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL).  We welcome applications from individuals with previous research experience in diverse areas within the field of microbiology and immunology. Expected Salary:

NRSA stipend levels based on years of experience. Minimum starting salary is $54,840.

Minimum Requirements:

Doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Bioinformatics, etc. 

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with previous experience in microbial genetics, bioinformatic and/or biochemistry are preferred but not essential.

Three letters of recommendation will be required of qualified candidates prior to hire.
