Job Description |
North Hennepin Community College, one of the largest and most diverse two-year colleges in Minnesota, is accepting applications for the position of Temporary Part-Time, Nursing Faculty.
The Nursing Department at NHCC is an engaged faculty interested in delivering the highest level of instruction to our students. Faculty members work as a team to consistently deliver content to students interested in pursuing their Associate Degree in Nursing – ADN. NHCC nursing is part of the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE Consortium). In this alliance students could earn their baccalaureate degree in Nursing at Metro state University after completion of Semester 5 at NHCC.
This position will teach clinical courses along with other courses in the Nursing catalog.
The successful candidate:

Salary:
Temporary Part-Time faculty are paid per credit; per-credit pay rate is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2019-2021 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF). Benefits: Temporary Part-time faculty are eligible for benefits after a one-semester waiting period based upon their assigned credit-load. Benefits include low-cost health and dental insurance, employer-paid life insurance, paid personal and sick leave, defined benefit and defined contribution plans, optional 457(b) and 403(b) retirement savings plans, and tuition waiver for employees and dependents.
