Presidential Search



The Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of president of Wilson Community College (WCC) in Wilson, North Carolina. The president serves as the Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to the appointed twelve-member board.

Established in 1958, WCC is one of the oldest community colleges of the 58 institutions of the North Carolina Community College System. WCC primarily serves Wilson County but draws students from numerous counties in eastern North Carolina. Classes are also offered online and at other locations in the community to make education accessible to all.

 

Required Qualifications:
  • An earned doctorate degree from an accredited institution preferred with a minimum requirement of a master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • More than three years senior-level administrative experience, preferably at a community college or university. Equivalent business, legal, medical, government, or military experience will also be considered.
