Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Support Specialist in Community Affairs at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Under the direction of the Executive Director, Telehealth, the Program Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Project ECHO Operations including helping to coordinate session participant rosters, onboarding, didactic presentation development, case management and ECHO Hub and Participant Communications, and Evaluation Survey management.
Among the key duties of this position are the following;
  • Provides support to the Executive Director and Program Administrators by organizing and coordinating daily program
    operations as directed.
  • Assists with Project ECHO marketing, recruitment, and registration.
  • Keeps records for ECHO clinics including ECHO session attendance; coordinates the administration of ECHO clinic operations under the supervision of the Executive Director and Program Administrator(s).
  • Communicates with ECHO Hub members, participants, and other internal and external stakeholders as directed.
  • Supports the creation of informational materials, including the design, layout and content of various materials,
    brochures, presentations, etc. for conferences, public relations programs, grant applications, and recruitment activities.
    Creates PowerPoint presentations for specific projects.
  • Helps Program Administrators summarize and control records and statistics for impact reports, website updates,
    internal reporting, etc.
  • Supports data collection and database needs for the department’s grants and programs, including ongoing monitoring for timeliness and accuracy of data collected.
  • Schedules, arranges and coordinates logistics for ECHO clinics, program events, and meetings.
  • Ensures compliance with University and government or funding agency project policies and procedures relative to program operations. Helps with government regulatory documentation

COVID-19 Immunization Requirement
Under Policy 60.1.35 , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Prospective employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster within two weeks (14 calendar days) of eligibility . Based on current guidance, individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the final dose of any COVID-19 vaccine authorized or approved for use in the United States by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Eligibility for a booster against COVID-19 varies and is explained on the University’s web site located at https://coronavirus.rutgers.edu/covid-19-vaccine . Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a prospective employee’s offer of employment and/or disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Education, Social Work, other health related field, plus two (2) years of progressively more responsible administrative experience required. 
  • Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.
