Summary

This position is to support the research on a particle image velocimetry (PIV) system, including data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities*

Responsibilities may include:

• Develop operating procedure for the PIV system
• Collect and analyze PIV data
• Data and image processing
• Prepare articles, reports and presentations
• Manage and respond to project related emails
• Perform CFD analysis and compare PIV data with CFD results

Required Qualifications*

• Must be a current undergraduate UM-Flint student
• Must have experience with system literature reviews and with writing papers
• The candidate should have a strong interest in fluid mechanics
• Must possess skills and experience in data processing using Excel and/or other similar software
