Duties:

May include, but are not limited to:

  • Audit daily cashiering activity, resolve posting errors, process daily Electronic Funds Transfers;
  • Track leases and ensure renewals are completed timely;
  • Serve as local Auditor to process travel reimbursement requests;
  • Serve as Imprest Cash Custodian, and complete audits of programs and offices assigned cash handling responsibilities;
  • Complete grant Time & Effort certifications;
  • Upload utility data into state portal to monitor and track energy savings measures;
  • Serve as backup for the Purchasing and Payables functions;
  • Serve as backup for Third Party billings; and
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: Associate degree (Business or related field) from regionally accredited college or university and three years of related experience, or equivalent. Related experience to include customer service, computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Good oral and written communication skills are also required.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with advanced Excel skills and a minimum of two years of direct experience with business/financial duties within the past five years.

Somerset Community College (SCC) is one of 16 two-year colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). SCC offers classes at six convenient campus locations.
