The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is one of five departments within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. We provide high quality, research-rich education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods including a state-of-the-art clinical skills centre. The post holder will work flexibly team to contribute to teaching, learning, assessment, and research. They will participate in supervision, planning, designing and development of undergraduate and postgraduate health programmes. They will provide expertise to further enhance research and entrepreneurial activities. This will include undertaking individual and collaborative research that demonstrates impact and involvement in external activities which will include academic enterprise. The post holder will have significant leadership responsibilities within the department.

You must possess excellent knowledge of the subject area and have active nursing registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), you must hold a master’s degree or equivalent in a related area or be qualified to Doctoral level.
