Full Job Description

Description:

The Pancreatic Cancer Research Laboratory at TGen currently has a postdoctoral fellowship position available. Our lab aims to develop novel targeted therapies for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer. We employ genomic and biochemical approaches to identify alterations responsible for driving the progression and/or drug resistance of pancreatic cancer. Promising alterations are further validated for drug targeting and candidate therapies are then developed and tested in cell line, organoids, and animal models. By closely working with clinicians at TGen's Clinical Services, we seek to rapidly translate laboratory findings to the clinic. Promising therapies are promptly evaluated in pilot clinical trials. Conversely, hypotheses generated by clinicians based on clinical observations are readily tested in the laboratory.
